Dylan is a Trooper

All I can say is that Dylan is an amazing little trooper.

For those of you who didn't know, Dylan had to have his two front teeth removed today.

Last night Mark and I explained to Dylan that he was going to see the dentist again today and he took the news very well. This morning he asked if the dentist was going to pull out his teeth and I told him maybe (the dental office told me not to give him too many details). He had to take some nasty medicine to "relax" him and he did it with very little complaining.

The entire procedure only took about 20 minutes and Dylan was pretty drunk when it was over. We were told to wake him every 30 minutes, walk him around and make him drink some water.

When we got home it took us about ten minutes and ice cubes on his belly to rouse him (it was a bit frightening). Once awake Dylan got a bit combative. He didn't understand why he was dizzy and that he was not very stable on his feet.

Thankfully he is eating and drinking and following a nice nap he is acting like himself again. We'll post pictures soon.
